About the art
Artist statement
This artwork is inspired by the repetition and movement of sunlight over water. I aim to create the feeling of calmness one has when looking over the ocean through pattern and shape.
This work is multiple layers of woodcut and ink hand printed on Hosho rice paper, with collage and drawing. This artwork comes framed but can also be shipped unframed.
Unframed paper size 56cm high x 76cm wide.
Matboard window size 53.5cm wide x 74.4cm wide.
