Artist statement
An acrylic painting inspired by the Biblical tale of the feeding of a multitude of five thousand that features two fish centrally positioned with blue as their predominant color. These fish are underneath a horizontal row of five circular elements, each with a cross-like design; the crosses alternate between yellow and orange and are variously sized and oriented. The painting's vibrant background is blue, while the periphery is adorned with a rich, colorful pattern incorporating hues of blue, orange, red, and green, with curving floral motifs and dots completing the dynamic and artistic composition.
