The object is part of a series in progress “Lalalandmarks” consisting of designs /sculptures based on famous landmarks.
It can be seen as a comment on mass production, mass tourism, national identity, and consumption.
It can also be seen as just an interesting beautiful object.
The design of the Eiffel tower is enormously overproduced, used in souvenirs, prints, posters, commercials, coffee mugs etc. Its iconic shape is grown larger than the tower itself. Using mass-produced souvenirs as a building block: I created a new object
