Artist statement
My art practice is based on exploration and experimentation. I do not adhere to a recognizable style. Rather my method of producing work is informed and finds it's cohesiveness by the colors I use, the forms that I use such as the grid, stripes, triangles, solid blocks of colors, geometric shapes and minimalist tendencies.
This painting is informed by Cuatro (Four). As I do many times a painting in a series is informed by the previous painting in the series. In this work I continue working in a grid based composition, the left side in a graphic black and white, maze like presentation and the right side using squares, and other notations of colors intersected by contracting zips of color that I have used in my Concrete Composition Series.
