About the art
Artist statement
Rojo y Negro continues my exploration into abstract geometric hard edged imagery. In this painting I used french curves to create a more biomorphic composition moving away from my other paintings where the grid is more prominent. Using red and black, I attempted to create a graphic and dynamic composition.
