Artist statement
The Alchemical Echoes series is characterized by moments of turbulence and experimentation. In this first piece of the series, the use of semi-varnished Chinese ink combined with a mix of porcelain references this turbulent and experimental moment.
In this series, varnish becomes a symbol of transformation and protection, yet also of turbulence. This piece explores how materials interact and evolve, reflecting a process of discovery.
