About the art
Artist statement
Conceptual Object 09 is part of the "Unearthed Contours" series, and consists of 3 pine needle ornaments arranged in different positions.
In the Unearthed Contours series, the piece takes on a more indigenous essence, freeing itself from the need to be anchored (to a wall). The sculpture combines porcelain and sawdust, creating a striking contrast between rough and smooth textures. This piece represents a "deep sigh," a release that challenges the conventions of the previous series.
The work engages directly with three-dimensional space, establishing a dialogue between lightness and weight, evoking a constant transformation of materials.
