Second piece of the Bound to Absence series. Here, 8 pine needles ornaments are arranged in the left side of the canvas. Splashes of different colors represent mixed feelings one can have during difficult times.
This piece belongs to the Bound to Absence series, where the color black represents a deeply turbulent moment for Juan Pablo. The black tone and dense texture reflect emotions of loss and transformation, thus exploring the weight of absence.
