About the art
Artist statement
Bubblegum is created from the molded paint that I make for my Flowerbomb series. During the process, approximately half of them will crack. In this work, I have taken those cracked pieces and turned them over to feature these imperfections.
Setting them in resin lends a high gloss finish to the beautiful ice cream colours.
Bubblegum is incredibly dimensional and utterly captivating. If you are looking for something that you will not see replicated in anyone else’s house then this is the work for you.
The work is fitted with D-rings and wire for immediate hanging. On the back you will find my signature, title, and date. The artwork is registered with the NRAA (National Registry for Australian Artists), details of the registration will be included with a Certificate of Authenticity.
