Artist statement
A unique, dimensional work that layers cut pieces from five different paintings and two wallpapers. Fools Gold is a luxurious feast for the eyes combining rich reds and golds highlighted with flashes of orange and hints of pink.
The result is striking, textural statement art that combines a dynamic technique with mouth-watering colour that would be at home in any contemporary interior.
This work is fitted with D rings and wire for immediate hanging. On the back you will find my signature, initials, title and year. It is registered on the NRAA (National Registry for Australian artists). The work comes with details of the registration and a Certificate of Authenticity.
