Artist statement
A vibrant orange forms the backdrop for a cacophony of pattern and rich splashes of colour.
Each individual piece of unsupported dried paint are cut from a variety of paintings that are without backing of any kind.
They are then collaged onto the canvas coupled with metallic wallpaper and highlighted with streams of colourful dots.
This is an engaging maximalist work that is full to the brim of energetic, passionate drama.
The work is fitted with D-rings and wire for immediate hanging. On the back you will find my signature, title, and date. The artwork is registered with the NRAA (National Registry for Australian Artists), details of the registration will be included with a Certificate of Authenticity.
The work is sealed with multiple layers of fine art varnish.
