Artist statement
A variety of soft yellows and apricots form the basis for this highly innovative work. Swirling bursts of petals captivate with their vivid hues and lush textures, evoking the vibrant, pulsating energy of life in bloom. The warmth, optimism, and essence of spring will resonate through any space it inhabits.
Dried paint pieces are formed into small curved circles which are then glued to the canvas.
The result is dimensional, different, and unique.
Petals comes framed in pale timber.
The measurements include the frame.
The work is fitted with D-rings and wire for immediate hanging. On the back you will find my signature, title, and date. The artwork is registered with the NRAA (National Registry for Australian Artists), details of the registration will be included with a Certificate of Authenticity.
