Artist statement
Masses of glossy white drips cascade over the rippled surface of a hand-made wall sculpture. Texture and shimmer combine in captivating elegance.
The winding structure, reminiscent of a snow-laden drift sculpted by wind, represents perseverance and transformation. It's designed to evoke a sense of quiet strength and introspection, subtly energizing any space with its serene yet powerful presence.
Each paint drip is dried before being meticulously glued one by one over the support. The innovative technique merges my background as a mosaic artist and sculptor with my interest in the manipulation of dried paint as a material.
The work is fitted with D-rings and wire for immediate hanging. On the back you will find my signature, title, and date. The artwork is registered with the NRAA (National Registry for Australian Artists), details of the registration will be included with a Certificate of Authenticity.
The work will be shipped in a custom plywood box.
