Artist statement
Layers of rich, earthy tones compress to form beautiful, hypnotic patterns separated by tiny shimmers of metallic dots just waiting to be discovered.
Strata is a striking, unusual blend of natural, warm-toned fragments cut from a variety of my abstract paintings.
This work has two sets of D rings and wire for your choice of vertical or horizontal hanging (see in situ images). The pattern continues around all sides, therefore, there is no need to frame. On the back, you will find my signature, initials, title, and year. It is registered on the NRAA (National Registry for Australian artists) . The work comes with details of the registration and a Certificate of Authenticity.
