Artist statement
This richly coloured abstraction of sumptuous greens and luxurious golds with a smattering of vibrancy from other hues makes for an interesting take on shyness.
Two flowers almost but not quite blend into the background through changes in direction. A variety of paintings without any background are dried and cut before being layered meticulously onto the canvas.
Highly textured and stunningly unique this large painting will offer a mouth-watering statement in any interior.
This work is fitted with D rings and wire for immediate hanging. On the back, you will find my signature, initials, title, and year. It is registered on the NRAA (National Registry for Australian artists). The work comes with details of the registration and a Certificate of Authenticity.
