Rising Light

The oil technique has fantastic qualities and offers the highest degree of manipulation. It gives the possibility of glazing up to impasto structure in a rich spectrum of color pigments. In this artwork, I make use of both. The classification leads to so-called "stripe art". Decorative art does not appeal to my own sensation, so I interpreted it in my own way. Light and space are the main components of my artistic work. And color development is one of my priorities. The pictures are drawn with the spatula. The irregular hand pressure gives a wonderful lively development of the lines. The "line row" tells their story of change from impasto to wafer-thin, from visible to dissolved, from permanent to broken, from one color to another. This development which manifests itself in each "line row" results in the overall image effect. The color range is precisely considered. The color nuances are mixed and prepared for days long.
