Artist statement
The mixed media abstract pieces originate from the digital blending of images on a computer. Through playful manipulation, new and authentic visuals emerge, serving as the foundation for these abstract creations. Once the digital artwork is finalized, it is printed and mounted onto a canvas, carefully overlaid with gel mediums to build texture. The piece is then enhanced with layers of acrylics, oils, and oil pastels and finished with a satin gloss varnish.
Various tools, including brushes, sponges, palette knives, and even fingers, are employed to apply the materials. This process creates a dynamic interplay between digital precision and manual artistry, often leaving viewers pleasantly intrigued.
This captivating creative journey seamlessly merges digital and traditional techniques, resulting in unique abstract art pieces that showcase layered, texturally rich compositions. The artwork is presented in a hand-painted bronze floating frame.
The size of the painting itself is 100x100x2 cm and the framed size is 103x130x3.5 cm.
