Artist statement
Hundreds of colorful wooden twirls, curls and spirals; made by hand one by one; fill this large sculpture to really make an impact in any space. It hangs vertically on the wall but also may be hung from the CEILING flat horizontally! The bright color palette gives the piece a sense of excitement, energy, and wonder. Karmin always includes some of Glenn Lucas' actual wood shavings in her sculptures.
It is sprayed with a UV protective spray but not recommended to be hung in direct sunlight.
