Artist statement
I used a classic color scheme of black, white, and grays for this sculpture. The neutral palette would look great in a very modern setting. It reminds me of a glamorous tuxedo. I even painted some polka dots to add a bit more whimsy and detail if looked closely at. This sculpture would compliment any room and be a great conversation piece. The sculpture is made up of hundreds of twirls, curls, and spirals made by hand one by one from wood reeds. It has a UV-resistant coating added to it I but still advised not to hang in direct sunlight.
