Artist statement
This newest addition to Kat Evans' Color Field series is a painting begun in 2016 and finally finished in the summer of 2022! The artwork exudes a vibrant yet calm harmony. The many layers of paint mixed with pearlescent (interference) green and acrylic medium creates subtle luminescence in Kat's work that is difficult to capture in a photo. She uses complementary colors to create her lively art.
