Artist statement
This large vibrant color field abstract painting is predominantly yellow-orange, with magenta and pops of greens and purples. The luminous glow is created with Kat Evans' signature use of colors mixed with her recognizable jewel toned palettes. The thrust of her work is color. Summer Solstice is imbued with chromatic intensity that reflects happy long summer days.
