Artist statement
Emanating light, energy and movement, this is large dynamic minimalist abstract is painted in colours of sea and pastel blue, mist and white. Layered paint reveal descriptive textures, delicate details, thick rough textures in areas and soft smooth in others, the perfect balance and harmony inspired by our natural world.
This series celebrates the here and now, being present, acknowledging today and everything life has to offer. A large scale abstract collection painted in minimal colour with pairing down, simplifying, beauty and calm in mind.
'All of my work is a direct expression of my day to day life, informed and inspired by the incredible landscape and country I live in, Australia. The ever changing clear blue to pink skies morning and night, to the pristine beaches, rocky cliff faces and deep ocean blues.'
