Artist statement
Fountain of Remembrance Waves, Night 8b13 is an abstraction of the waves in the Fountain of Remembrance, lit at night. There are several versions of the main image (Fountain of Remembrance Waves, Night 8). In this version (8b13), I have pushed the saturation and contrast to such an extent, that only the basic shapes of the waves are visible, all smaller variances in tone and shape are lost, yielding a pattern of wiggly striped lines, yet still with the sense of motion of the waves themselves
