Artist statement
Geometric 2021 -185d3d is an abstraction of a kaleidoscopic image. There are quit a few variations of the main image (2021 - 185), each limited to 3 prints per version. In this version (2021 - 185d3d), I have chosen to use just 5 of the elements of the entire array for the image so they are more prominent as individual elements and so their shape becomes more the subject of the image. For this version, I have rendered the entire background black and the entirety of the elements in terra cotta and white to give a clay-like earthy effect.
Note - this work is offered in 3 sizes -- 20” H x 15.2” W // 24” H x 18.2” W // 30” H. x 22.7” W -- but is limited to 3 PRINTS TOTAL FOR ALL 3 SIZES COMBINED Whichever size prints are purchased, when 3 prints have been made, this version of this image will be "Sold Out"
