Artist statement
Geometric 2021 - 220a10b is an abstraction of a kaleidoscopic image. The main image (2021 - 220) has several variations, all limited to 3 prints of each version. In this image (2021 - 220a10b), I have changed the very monotone dark browns of the main image to a combination of light browns and contrasting blacks, and have reduced the thickness the concentric triangles and hexagons to minimal pen-like lines instead of the bold thick strokes of the main image, to produce a version that is more calm and introspective. it is not made to jump out out at you, but rather for you to fall into it.
Note - this work is offered in 3 sizes -- 18.6” H x 30” W // 24.8” H x 40” W & 31” H. x 50” W -- but is limited to 3 PRINTS TOTAL FOR ALL 3 SIZES COMBINED Whichever size prints are purchased, when 3 prints have been made, this version of this image will be "Sold Out"
