Martian, Walking 4d7 is an abstraction of a very small detail of one of the images in the Surfer Dreams series, literally less than one eighth inch square, of the main initial image, which has been extensively worked and altered. Some of the wavy lines of the original image, thus seen in fine detail suggest to me an alien being
