Artist statement
Neon 111b19b16 (The Id And the Ego) is an extreme abstraction of a neon restaurant sign at night that bears, in these extreme abstractions of the 111 series, absolutely no resemblance to the original image view at all. In this particular version (119b19b16 - The Id And the Ego), I'm trying to convey mental or psychological states, showing, perhaps, a harmonious balance between the two.
