Oculus 100x2b28

Oculus 100x2b28 is an abstraction of part of the Oculus structure in lower Manhattan. There are many variations of the main image (Oculus 100 - which shows a view of the ceiling of the entire Oculus structure), each limited to 3 prints per version. In this particular version (100x2b28), I have selected just a tiny part of the main image, and have reproduced it 4 times, rotating and flipping successive images 90 degrees and then combining all 4 of these detailed images to form a symmetrical whole to form a new series of images (100x2 images). For version 100x2b28, I have chosen a palette of light green, pale yellow, and black to make the main elements jump out from the image and to have an elegant and regal feeling, as though this were a modern design for a coat-of-arms, or the insignia of some very private exclusive society or club.
