Artist statement
Seeds displays ten crochet flowers arranged concavely along the lower edge of a canvas covered with brown fabric, rough as tree bark, evoking an earthy essence. Crochet chains cascade from some flowers, like roots. Inspired by the abundant flora of Sumpango, Guatemala, Kenneth transforms the everyday into a cultural tribute where fashion and art converge.
