Abigail in Yellow
A simple repeated and reversed line stretches across the canvas making a linked motif that repeats in two powerful reflecting rows. The palest wash of yellow marks the boundary between upper and lower rows, or is it a glimpse through a barrier to the horizon? The painter does not explain, leaving this to the viewer.
