Artist statement
The hard and the soft blush of sound. A warm red note rising still but ever diminishing in the rigid line of time.
This print, this idea, conceived as shown with ‘perspective’ lines expanding to the right side, works entirely differently shown rotated 180 degrees. The note still rises, and time expands filling the present.
A double plate intaglio (etching style) print made with carborundum powder and acrylic paste.
