About the art
Artist statement
This artwork are created with handmade soft pastels on 300 g cotton paper.
Inspired by the life affirming sun and the fabolous yellow lichen that covers the rocks along the coast making them light up and shine as the sun. Spring is moving on fast feet over the land, visiting every nook and cranny leaving fresh colours as its footprints transforming the land and colouring it so beautifully and the best of all bringing it all back to life again. The rocky shores are becoming friendly places for new life to start and for curious children to play. Its a fabulous time of the year - all is fresh and new and yet forever old.
