Laila’s art works are often full of textures, she likes to work with multiple media such as paint, latex, and fabric, using her bare hands she weaves and interweaves the layers into an intricate lattice that is symbolic of life. She embraces life in its entirety together with all its encounters. Life as a process and a journey – all the mishaps, miracles and mysteries – is embodied in her paintings.
