Artist statement
Just like that by Lana Alsamir-Diamond, this work is a result of the artist's continuous interest in themes of closeness, a minimal abstract that gave way to colour in a very considered way.
Moons are a constant in my work, the moon has so many faces, my fascination started when I used it as a constant presence in my more figurative works, and I slowly became fascinated by the shape and the possibilities it offered to my work, it grew from a representation of the moon to a recurring motif in my work.
