Artist statement
Love Series no 5 by Lana Alsamir-Diamond - The love series, is a series inspired by love and all those emotions that come with love, it is essentially about closeness.
This series is painted on brown Craft Paper, rather than the hand made 100% cotton paper I usually use, I have used an Acrylic with a slight gloss rather than ink, which created beautiful brush marks on the surface and the humble craft paper offers a rawness to the piece. This piece has a calm and humble presence.
And true to the saying "All you need is love"
