Lara Porzak is a Los Angeles-based photographer who uses ancient film-making methods to immerse the viewer in a timeless universe, where only memory could perhaps serve as a cardinal point. Thanks to a work on the support and the artisanal framing of the work, Lara gives back to photography its original uniqueness, returning it to its former magnetism. The aesthetics that she develops, her poetry and her technical mastery are the reasons that convinced the Getty Museum and many individuals to integrate her work into their collections.
