Artist statement
I have been working on a series of assemblages that include both modified found material usually from my studio/shop such as the blue dowel and the plywood base I've used here.
The green trunk like feature was carved with a chainsaw from a portion of a tree trunk that was given me.
There's several in this group chainsaw components, mixed with "Studio debris". I like the notion of stirring the imagination with a few ingredients.
