About the art
Artist statement
The traditional Eastern armchair and the modern Western chair, set against the backdrop of vibrant and ever-changing clouds, intersect and merge. Despite their vastly different forms, the shared four legs of these chairs support their unique cultures, which have developed distinctive characteristics over time. With the advancement of globalization, the exchange and integration of cultures have deepened, causing these diverse cultural forms to evolve. Ultimately, we find that what appears to be cultural differences is merely superficial; the development of human civilization actually stems from the same fundamental roots.
