About the art
Artist statement
This work is a poetry of winter approaching at the edge of the wood, testimony to the passage of time and the seasons. It was made by the artist inspired by the proximity of the forest of Fontainebleau, which is right in front of his studio!
This piece was first made with watercolor in the wet, then with glaze for the colored background that evokes the sky or an aquatic universe.
Then the trees were made in Indian ink.
Cosimo Strazzeri during Kromatika says about the artist: The chromatic contrast between colors and ink creates the inner / outer dialectic of Linda's works whose common theme is the desire for transcendence and harmony. It can only be achieved through a relationship of communion with nature, which makes it possible to go beyond the limits imposed by existence.
