About the Image:

Taken from a self portrait series entitled "self revelation", The series focuses on how we present our authentic selves and the hidden depths and layers that are embedded within us.
In these Limited Edition Photographs, Louise transforms conscious emotions into an artistic expression.
Placing herself in the frame, Louise creates series through thought-provoking aesthetic narratives that tell stories of a person, a place or an emotion.

Influenced by early photographic techniques, she plays with natural light, long exposures, shadows and reflections. Being inspired by traditional painting methods, the resulting images incorporate techniques borrowed from other disciplines to give her photographs an ephemeral yet timeless quality.

Originally shot on medium format film. This image has been reworked from a traditionally printed photograph and digitized to include modern digital effects such as colourful 'noise' (see detail image which shows this effect close up).

About the Print:

The photograph is printed on Fine Art Matte Hahnemüle Paper.

Image sizes include a small white border for mounting.

The print is stamped and numbered on the back. Each print comes with a signed, stamped and numbered certificate of authenticity.

This is a Limited Edition Print. Once the number of copies stated is sold, this photograph will no longer be for sale.

Shipping and delivery:

Shipping costs vary depending on size and address. All work is sent with a track and trace number using a recognised postal service.

Photographs up to 30x40cm are carefully packaged in a clear archival sleeve are sent in a rigid cardboard envelope using an envelope stiffener to avoid any bending.

Prints larger than 30x40cm are wrapped in archival tissue for protection and are sent in a wide 100mm diameter tube.

The prints come packaged together with your signed and dated Certificate of Authenticity. Each print comes with an image description including brief framing advice, a postcard and a sticky label for the back of your framed print.
