Artist statement
"Tropical Tapestry" is a statement piece that will undoubtedly grab attention on any wall. This fine art photograph draws inspiration from the diverse tapestry of life, by blending and layering trees captured during my travels this year, spanning continents, the result is reminiscent intricate details and layers of a hand woven carpet. It has elements of a screen print technics and painting, simply created through the use of layering of photographs to give it its texture.
I love the pops of orange and pink which harmonise with a palette of greys, bright and warm rich vibrant greens. A fusion of art and nature!
