Artist statement
"Two great mysteries the human being has to face in his short time: the body and time. The body in time and time in the body. The body goes through time changing continuously and time continuously leaves its irrefutable marks on the body. The body is therefore always a terribly exact map of the signs that time has engraved on it.
All of Luca's work seems to take place and develop within this incessant dialectic of body and time. Observing his work carefully, even within different cycles of works, this appears absolutely clear: the theme is always, obsessively, the body-time relationship through the signs that this relationship necessarily leaves behind".
