About the art
Artist statement
This painting is a fantasy on the theme of my love for nature, mountain ranges, rivers and waterfalls, and also the sky. And this painting really has it all, body and soul. And also a lot of air and warmth. You can look at all the details and shades of colour for a long time and find the remnants of evening dawn, fog, and perhaps a glacier - high up, almost in the sky. I guess this is my favourite Iceland, which took me away completely.
