Artist statement
In this painting, I tell the lies that we don't get tired of telling. Oddly enough, people don't like honest people at all. For many people, lies are more appealing. Fake compliments, fake respect. My addiction to lies is no different from nicotine or alcohol addiction. False attention is like poison that is deliberately drunk.
