Artist statement
Language of silence" series which I started by taking inspiration from the Lost Map series. In this series, I try to lead people to courage indeed. I am talking about the courage to speak. People do not regret what they said, they regret what they could not say. It is necessary to talk good, think good and become good. This is something like a "All Over Again" series. With this expression, I am trying to tell the following. The number of spoken languages over the world is around 8000. But can we understand each other? It seems to me that languages are not enough to understand each other. This series is talking about this issue. We need more. What we need is more understanding, tolerance, love, respect and endless power of empathy. I think no language can bind us together as these features. Therefor we need a new language and this is the Language of Silence.
