The work is a one-off that was created as a monotype in the Künstlerhaus Bethanien in Berlin. Colors were superimposed in several printing processes on an offset machine, resulting in slight shifts in the color definition and allowing a transcendence of the color composition. Marc Schmitz's monotypes have been exhibited internationally at biennials and in galleries and are represented in various international collections.
