About the art
Artist statement
"Jerusalem" is part of the "Beyond Perspective" series, which explores the interplay of geometry, light, and shadow in architectural forms. This photograph captures the Chords Bridge, an iconic structure in the entrance to the city of Jerusalem in Israel, designed by Santiago Calatrava. More than a functional landmark, the bridge embodies movement, tension, and balance, evoking the rhythm of the urban landscape it spans. The composition isolates its architectural essence, offering a meditative study of form and space, where the lines seem to extend beyond the frame, inviting contemplation on the fluidity of structure and perspective.
