Artist statement
An expensive car for some is a luxury, for others it is a means of transportation. For a week of rest in a villa in the ocean, someone saves for many years, and someone can afford such a vacation every week. For some people, snacking on fresh oysters with a glass of champagne is a common thing. For others, this is an exclusive for the holidays, and someone does not know at all what oysters taste like. We all have different needs and abilities. But we all want a better life!
Oysters on ice are made with a marker and pencil. The edges of the frame are drawn, they are part of the plot of the picture. The work will be delivered on a stretcher and can immediately become a bright addition to the interior of your kitchen, dining room, living room.
