Artist statement
Tulip is a symbol of spring. It personifies the end of the cold and the joy of the sun's warming rays. What does it mean to give tulips? Red tulips symbolize desire, love and passion.
It was not by chance that I chose a flower of a lilac-red hue. It combines warm and cold, winter and early spring. And by the way, the color very peri is the trend of 2022. The leaves of the flower are made in muted colors, go into the shade. The main focus of the picture is the bud itself.
The flower is covered with a glossy varnish, which creates additional volume on a matte surface. The edges of the wide frame are drawn, they are part of the plot of the picture. The work will be delivered on a stretcher and can immediately become a bright addition to your interior.
