"Mr. Deer"
Why did I choose a wild deer as the subject for this painting?
Several thousand species of animals on Earth are in danger of extinction. Their lives are highly dependent on specific climatic conditions and ecological habitats. Do you remember how in some films there are scenes where deer come out to warn people about an impending natural disaster or are a signifier of a situation that requires a quick reaction?
This is one of my works within the Void 2099 project, executed on black canvas without the use of synthetic materials.
